Sited in the grounds of Wollaton Hall, the Yard Gallery has exhibitions which connect with the natural history collection which are housed in the main building. The Hall used to have an area dedicated to the human anatomy and Jackie did some studies of anatomical teaching models which were on display early in the 20th Century. These models were dispalyed alongside Jackie's work giving visitors an insight to the paintings.
Over 11,000 visitors attended the show which appealed to those interested in science as well as gallery goers.
